In a surprising partnership that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden cult.
The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
