The Prince of Wales Set to Attend UN Climate Conference in South America
Prince William is scheduled to attend the COP30 climate summit in Brazil next month, according to royal officials.
The father and son duo made a joint appearance on Thursday night at a reception preceding the environmental conference, which is set to be held in the Amazonian city of Belem.
Father and son were participating in the Natural History Museum reception, marking an rare public appearance together at a environmental conference preliminary meeting arranged together with the United Kingdom administration.
Climate Leadership Dedication
The King has been a long-time champion of biodiversity preservation - and the Prince of Wales has taken on the baton, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be hosted in Rio before the COP summit.
Royal sources have characterized the Prince's participation at the next COP as taking on an crucial position in "climate diplomacy".

The King and Prince of Wales, arriving together in the state Bentley, were welcomed guests including environmentalists, scientists, climate change campaigners, diplomats and politicians.
